Viking Borre Style Key in Bronze - Replica
This replica of an original Viking key in Borre style was elaborately and meticulously crafted from robust bronze. The key is adorned with so-called gripping beasts, which are a striking feature of the Borre style, also known as the gripping beast style. This 9th-century early medieval replica can be admired in its original form in Copenhagen today, though unfortunately, its place of discovery was never determined. During the Viking Age, such a key was an important part of women's attire and a status symbol, visibly worn by married Viking women as a sign of their position. The Borre-style Viking key made of bronze is a suitable piece of jewelry for every Viking reenactor, but also something very special as a gift for fans.
