This battle-ready variant of a Viking helmet roof axe blade was widespread among Vikings, Rus, and Slavs due to its design and simple manufacturing process. The cutting edge of this battle-ready axe blade is blunt and the edges are rounded to avoid damage and injuries as much as possible. Forge residues and hammer marks were deliberately left for aesthetic reasons but do not impair the quality! When hafted, this axe blade is perfect for early medieval and Viking fans.
