This massive replica of a Viking amulet was handcrafted from robust bronze. The original find comes from a hoard in Varby/Sweden, which was buried around 940 in the early Middle Ages. The bronze amulet shows a Viking-era griffin, which stylistically and chronologically fits the so-called Borre style. You can wear this replica with a leather strap or chain up to 4 mm thick. This piece of jewelry is perfect for a Viking depiction in early medieval reenactment and, of course, for a Norseman in LARP.
