This elaborately designed and handcrafted bracelet was made from robust bronze and corresponds to early medieval jewelry as worn by Celts, Germanic peoples, Slavs, and Vikings.
Arm jewelry like this was widespread in Northern Europe and also served as a tradable commodity or means of payment.
