Early Medieval Axe Head for Two-Handed Axe - Replica
Large axe blades like this one were used by many peoples for two-handed axes in the Early Middle Ages. Due to its design and material thickness, it is optimally suited for reenactment combat, however, the edge would have to be blunted and the edges rounded to avoid damage and injuries. The forging residues and hammer marks were deliberately left for the sake of the forged look, but do not impair quality. Once hafted, this axe head is the perfect companion for Early Medieval reenactors and fans.
