Early Medieval Axe Head for Two-Handed Axe - Replica
Large axe heads like this one were used by many peoples in the Early Middle Ages for two-handed axes. Due to its design and material thickness, it is optimally suited for combat reenactment, although the cutting edge would have to be ground blunt and the edges rounded to avoid damage and injuries. The forging residues and hammer marks were deliberately left for the sake of the forged appearance, but do not impair quality. Mounted on a shaft, this axe head is the perfect companion for Early Medieval reenactors and fans.
