This elaborately hand-braided Viking necklace with wolf heads was crafted from robust bronze and culminates in two Viking Age wolf heads, whose use as a symbolic ornament is supported by archaeological finds of other jewelry. The Viking necklace fastens at the back of the neck with a hook and ends in the chest area with an inverted omega-shaped hook. This hook is fastened over the wolves' mouths, securing the Viking necklace and serving as a holder for almost any Viking amulet. We recommend carefully clamping the hook to both wolf mouths to secure the amulet.
