This early medieval Viking decorative rivet in Jelling style is suitable for 3 cm wide straps. It is based on a total of seven different finds of the almost identical disc brooch found in Cambridgeshire/England, two in Birka in Sweden, three from Denmark, and even one near Salzwedel in Germany. Similar versions were also found in Ireland, Schleswig-Holstein, and Hamburg. On the back of the decorative rivet, there is a pin that you push through the material and then simply place the small, included cap on top to fix it with a few light hammer blows. The Viking decorative rivet in Jelling style for 3 cm straps is also suitable as decoration for other leather equipment for Viking reenactment, medieval markets, and LARP.
