This Viking decorative rivet dragon in Jelling style for 2 cm leather straps is wonderful as a decorative belt fitting for a Viking belt from the 10th century, from which the original find in the Viking trading post Birka also originates. It shows a Viking Age depiction of a dragon or a wolf, which is not clearly identifiable as there were no photorealistic images in the early Middle Ages. The Viking decorative rivet dragon in Jelling style for 2 cm straps is therefore suitable for early medieval re-enactment, cosplay, LARP, and the medieval market.
