Viking herringbone cotton leg wraps

These early medieval leg wraps (also called calf wraps or puttees) were made from one piece of cotton with a woven herringbone pattern. The edges have no irritating seams and are fastened with a simple cotton tie. They not only provide warmth but also protect the legs from injuries and are also perfect as padding for reenactment combat. The ideal complement to an outfit for Germans, Slavs, and Vikings, the medieval market, or LARP.
