This battle-ready Viking Spangenhelm is the classic early medieval helmet worn by Vikings, Saxons, Franks, Rus, and Normans. As was customary for Spangenhelms in Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages, it consists of four welded metal plates, which were firmly riveted to the overlapping bands, creating an extremely robust helmet for historical combat! The riveted nasal was hand-forged with typical eyebrows, which were a common ornament in the Viking Age. Inside the Viking nasal helmet, you will find a riveted and adjustable leather inlay and a leather chin strap that closes with a brass buckle. A perfect helmet for Early Medieval Reenactment and historical combat, but also for LARP and visiting the Medieval Market.
