This battle-ready Viking Spangenhelm is the classic early medieval helmet worn by Vikings, Saxons, Franks, Rus, and Normans. As was common for Spangenhelms in Antiquity and the early Middle Ages, it consists of four welded metal plates, which were firmly riveted to the overlapping braces, thus creating an extremely robust helmet for reenactment combat! The riveted nasal was hand-forged, featuring the typical eyebrows that were common ornamentation in the Viking Age. Inside the Viking nasal helmet, you'll find a riveted and adjustable leather inlay and a leather chin strap that closes with a brass buckle. A perfect helmet for early medieval reenactment and combat, but also for LARP and visiting the medieval market.
