This replica of a Viking sword from approx. the 10th century was handmade. The grip scales are made of wood and were wrapped with light brown leather. The guard and pommel were made of robust brass and decorated with Viking-era ornaments. A leather scabbard with a wooden core was made to match the sword, and was also fitted with brass fittings. As it does not have a holder, we recommend one of our medieval sword holders if required. This early medieval sword is perfect as a decoration and gift, but is also suitable for medieval markets.
