Viking Round Shield Ravens - hand-painted 60 cm

This hand-painted Viking round shield Ravens is the perfect decoration for your Viking camp, armory and of course for on the go at the medieval market. Ravens were associated by Vikings with Odin, who was also served by two of the most famous ravens in Viking mythology, earning him the epithet Raven God. The raven also stands for wisdom and foresight, two qualities that are appreciated not only among Vikings. The two ravens on the shield are kept in Viking Age style, and Celtic ornaments are also visible. The Viking shield was covered with linen and the rim was covered with rawhide, but you still have to attach the round steel boss in the middle. The back with a fist grip was made of robust wood.
