This historically inspired, handcrafted Early Medieval Viking Coat with border and embroidery, made from sturdy cotton fabric, has a fitted cut, is slightly flared, and is lined. For practical reasons, pockets are integrated into the side seams at hip height. The embroidered border features a knot pattern widely used in the Early Middle Ages and is modeled after the border on the picture stone from Lärbro on Gotland. Similar to the Birka mantle, it has no closure and can either be worn open or closed with a belt. The elaborate craftsmanship and color scheme make the Viking coat with border and embroidery a real eye-catcher and are perfect for the medieval market, cosplay, wedding, early medieval portrayal, and LARP.
