This high-quality Viking Leather Necklace Dragon Head Gotland is braided from leather and features decorative dragon heads as end pieces made of bronze, which are connected with an omega hook inserted into their mouths. Chains and bracelets decorated with animal heads are known from various archaeological sites from the Viking Age and are not a modern invention. The historical model for these Viking Age dragon heads is a Viking Age armring from Gotland/Sweden, dated to the 10th century of the Early Middle Ages, which corresponds to the end of the Viking Age. You can string any amulet onto this leather necklace, as long as it has a small eyelet or ring.
