This hand-braided Viking Age chain was widely used in the Early Middle Ages and was made of robust bronze. Due to the handcrafted nature, there are always irregularities in thickness, length, and flexibility, but this fact makes each individual piece a unique item with its very own character, just as the wearer has their own unique character. This bronze chain is ideal for heavy amulets with a 5 mm opening in our shop, such as our axe amulets or the wolf cross, and suits almost every Viking, Early Medieval reenactor, or fan.
