Viking Axe from Rommund/Gotland - Replica

This Viking hand axe was handcrafted exactly according to an archaeological find from Rommunds, Gotland. It was dated to the 10th century of the Early Middle Ages and thus comes from the heyday of the Vikings. The axe blade is forged in one piece and shows Viking-era plant-like decorative elements. Please note that the blade is sharpened and fully functional, so it is not suitable for show combat! The handle is made of natural ash wood and can of course be upgraded if required.

This replica of a Viking axe can be used as a working axe, but also as a battle axe, and the original is now on display in the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm. This Viking hand axe is therefore perfect for Viking reenactment and Viking fans and collectors of authentic replicas.
