This wide Viking belt end piece was made from robust bronze. The original can now be found in the British Museum in London and has been dated to the 9th century of the Early Middle Ages. This replica shows decorations that correspond to the Viking Age Borre style, which also matches the time of the find. This Viking strap end piece is best suited for 3 cm wide leather belts. On the back of the fitting there are long pins for fastening. These are carefully pushed through the leather, then flattened with a hammer. This belt end piece is perfect for Viking reenactors and skilled craftspeople who like to make their own unique Viking Age equipment.
