This Early Medieval Viking Box Brooch Gotland is a handmade replica, based on an original found on the Swedish island of Gotland and dating from the 7th century. A box brooch is a round brooch with a high rim that is hollow inside, a common brooch shape in the Early Middle Ages. The surface is decorated with interwoven animals and the rim features a Viking Age continuous band ornamentation. This bronze brooch is perfect for Viking, Slavic, and Germanic reenactment, as well as for LARP.
