This Viking axe head was used in the early Middle Ages by Vikings, Saxons, Rus', and Slavs for daily work and in battle, and due to its design and material thickness, it is optimally suited for reenactment combat. The hand-forged blade and edges are blunt, but we recommend rounding off the corners to avoid damage and injuries during show combat as much as possible. The forging residues and hammer marks have been deliberately left for aesthetic reasons but do not impair quality. Once hafted, this hand-forged Viking axe head is perfect for Early Medieval reenactors and Viking fans.
