This early medieval Viking pendant Gotland sphere made of bronze is a replica of the famous Gotland necklace, a rock crystal pendant found in Domerarve / Öja on Gotland. This piece of jewelry, dated to the end of the Viking Age, the middle of the 11th century, originally consisted of several elements such as this one made of silver and various jewelry beads. The setting of the Gotland sphere is made of bronze and is decorated with typical Viking ornaments. The Viking pendant Gotland sphere is an example of the high art of jewelry making of the Vikings.
