This Viking Age amulet is a detailed replica of the found Revninge Woman from Denmark. The original find dates back to the 8th century of the Early Middle Ages and is special because the head was crafted three-dimensionally, while the rest of the body is flat, as was typical in the Viking Age. The original amulet was made of gilded silver, and the details such as the clothing, hair, and jewelry of the Revninge Woman are unusually elaborate, which was a real rarity and therefore a sensation in the Viking Age. An opening at the back of the head allows the amulet to be worn with a leather strap or chain. This piece of jewelry was made of robust bronze and is a perfect fit for early medieval Viking reenactment and, of course, LARP.
