This solid bronze Viking amulet from Haithabu in Borre style was handmade and is evidence, through finds of almost identical pieces of jewelry in Varby/Sweden and Norfolk/England, of the spread of goods and culture in the Early Middle Ages by the Vikings. The original, which was a fibula, was found in Hedeby, the largest Viking Age trading port in Northern Europe, along with its mold, today also known as Haithabu. This replica features gripping beasts often used during the Viking Age and is in the historically appropriate Borre style, which mixes with elements of the Oseberg style. This bronze Viking amulet from Haithabu in Borre style is a perfect piece of jewelry for Viking reenactment and also makes a very special gift!
