This openwork Vendel Period disc amulet made of bronze was replicated after an original find. The original was dated to the late 7th century of the Early Middle Ages and found in Bosavre near the settlement of Stånga on Gotland in Sweden. Similar finds of disc amulets symbolizing a triskel, depicted by ribbon-like animals, are also known from medieval Europe among the Franks and in Southern Europe from the Alamanni. The replica of the Vendel Period bronze disc amulet is therefore ideal for Early Medieval reenactment for Franks, Alamanni, and Vikings, but also suitable for everyday wear, medieval markets, and LARP.
