This elaborately crafted Vendel decorative rivet Valsgärde is suitable for 3 cm wide straps from the Vendel Period. It is based on a historical find from Valsgärde/Sweden and depicts two intertwined serpent-like animals. The original find was dated to the Early Middle Ages of the 6th century, just before the Viking Age, and is in the so-called Vendel style or animal style. On the back, there are 4 pins that need to be riveted. The Vendel decorative rivet Valsgärde is perfect as a fitting on leather bags, leather straps, or leather belts for Early Medieval reenactment, LARP, Cosplay, and Medieval markets!
