This figure of a Templar Sergeant on horseback has been detailed by hand and appears to be on patrol. A Templar Sergeant also held the title of serving brother and was numerous among the Templars, but was subordinate to the knight brothers, who were recruited exclusively from the nobility. This mounted Templar Sergeant carries his primary weapon, the spear, in his right hand and his shield on his back. Underneath the black surcoat with a red cross, typical for Templar Sergeants, chainmail from the Middle Ages is visible, and on his belt to the left hangs his secondary weapon, a sword in its leather scabbard. His horse wears a caparison, which also bears the colors of the Templars along with the Templar cross. This Templar Sergeant is an impressive decoration for fans of Templars and knights.
