This Late Medieval Long Belt with Brass Fittings made of Leather was elaborately handcrafted. The buckle, decorative rivets, and the chape are made of brass and are replicas based on finds from the Middle Ages, making them suitable for reenactment as well as LARP. It does not yet have holes to allow for individual adjustment.
In the Middle Ages, it was common to tie the leather around the buckle or ring and let the excess end hang decoratively from the garment below the belt knot.
