This small Slavic amulet made of bronze is a replica based on a find in grave BJ 943 in the Viking town of Birka/Sweden. The original Viking Age amulet was decorated with the so-called granulation technique, as was typical for Slavic jewelry of the Early Middle Ages. Elaborately small beads and fine wires were soldered onto the amulet. This small Slavic amulet Birka made of bronze is completely cast in one piece, without losing the magnificent details of the original. This Slavic piece of jewelry is perfect for the Early Middle Ages.
While granulated pendants from the Viking Age were created differently, our replica is cast in one piece, beautifully showcasing the intricate details.
