This special short-hooded gugel is a perfect addition to a historical costume and protects against wind and weather. This medieval headwear was elaborately handcrafted from wool and features an intricate so-called herringbone pattern. What makes it special is that it is a replica based on a find in Skjoldehamn, Norway, and was one of the first examples dated to the late 10th century. Suitable for reenactment and LARP.
