Our Skjoldehamn coif is a perfect addition to your historical garb and protects against wind and weather. This medieval head covering was elaborately handmade from wool and has a square base shape; characteristically, the wide brim ends with a point on your chest. It is a replica based on a find in Skjoldehamn, Norway, and was one of the first examples to be dated to the late 10th century. This coif is perfect for reenactment, medieval markets, and LARP.
