This narrow warhead with barbs for arrow making was hand-forged from steel and is based on historical arrowheads from the European Middle Ages. Barbed arrowheads were almost exclusively used in war, as they caused very severe wounds and usually could not be removed from the body without causing even greater damage. This narrow arrowhead has a matte black surface and is mounted on the arrow shaft with a socket, which was also the common fastening method for such an arrowhead in the Middle Ages. The narrow warhead with barbs is suitable for DIY enthusiasts and reenactors. We also have a wider one in our online shop, which is intended for stronger bows as it is heavier.
From our own experience, we recommend not shooting at 3D animal targets with such tips!
