Pair of Bronze Turtle Brooches in Jelling Style

The openwork and oval Viking turtle brooch pair in Jelling style was made of robust bronze. It depicts Viking Age ribbon animals, probably snakes, and is in the Viking Age Jelling style of the 9th - 10th century of the Early Middle Ages. On the back, there is a pin for fastening and a separate eyelet for attaching beads and/or other jewelry chains or utensils.
