Since there were few people who could read in the Middle Ages, a seal had to serve as a signature to confirm the clear will of a person or an entire group, in this case, the Knights Templar.
The hand-painted lid of the casket shows the most famous seal of the Knights Templar from the 11th century: a horse with two Templars sitting on it, encircled by the motto "SIGILLUM MILITUM XPISTI," which means "Seal of the Soldiers of Christ." Inside the casket, on the bottom, there is another seal, the seal of the Grand Master. This Templar casket is perfect as a container for medieval and knightly jewelry and is also an excellent gift and decoration for knights and medieval fans.
Material: Artificial stone - hand-painted
Dimensions: approx. 10 x 10 x 5.5 cm
