This simply designed powder horn with a wooden stopper was reconstructed from a real ox horn based on original finds. It is equipped with a leather strap for carrying and has a wooden stopper as a closure. The powder horn features decorative carvings and a wooden cap, fastened with brass nails, which serves as the base. Powder horns like this were used between the 16th and 18th centuries to "safely" transport black powder for muskets, muzzleloaders, and flintlock pistols. This powder horn with a leather strap and wooden stopper is the perfect accessory for Reenactors from Napoleon's time, Pirates in Cosplay and LARP, and naturally also fits in at medieval markets.
As it is a real ox horn and thus a natural product, there will naturally be variations in shape and color.
