These handmade pauldrons consist of four individual pieces of driven steel sheet, connected with leather straps. The lateral leather strips with historical buckles serve to fix them to the upper arm. The upper strap with buckle is intended for attachment to plate armour, gorget, or breastplate; an additional strap, if needed, is included. These pauldrons are suitable for stage combat and can be worn with other armour over a chainmail or gambeson. Armour like this is ideal for Late Middle Ages reenactment, as well as LARP and the portrayal of knights, guards, bodyguards, or even nobles.
