Our medieval monk's habit Benedictus is modeled after the monastic garment of the well-known monk Benedict, who lived in the early 5th century Middle Ages and was the founder of the order of the same name. It was handmade from robust and uncombed cotton and consists of a habit, cord, and cowl.
