Medieval Steel Caltrop - hand-forged

This medieval caltrop made of steel was hand-forged and consists of four spikes. In the Middle Ages, caltrops, also called crow's feet or foot traps, were used to injure enemy foot troops or cavalry horses and thus hinder their advance. However, the caltrop can also be used perfectly as a decorative candle holder for pillar candles.
