This hand-forged replica of a hammer axe head was used by many early medieval peoples such as Vikings and Slavs. Due to its construction and material thickness, it is optimally suited for combat display. The cutting edge is blunt and the edges are rounded to avoid damage and injuries as much as possible. The forging residues and hammer marks were deliberately left for aesthetic reasons, but do not impair quality. Mounted on a shaft, this axe head is the perfect companion for Early Medieval Reenactors and Medieval fans.
