Our blunt medieval winged lance tip for re-enactment combat was hand-forged from steel and polished. It has two so-called ridge blades on the socket, which gives it its distinctive appearance. The socket itself was cleanly forged, closed and has a bore on both sides for fixing to a wooden shaft. To reduce the risk of injury, the winged lance has a blunted and thickened lance tip, and for possible balancing of the lance, we recommend a lance foot. Lances like these were already used as weapons of war by the Franks in the Early Middle Ages, both on foot and from horseback. The medieval winged lance tip for re-enactment combat is also ideal for medieval reenactment and re-enactment combat.
