This medieval axe holder with metal ring was handmade from a leather loop for belts and a metal ring, which were riveted together. It is as simple as it is ingenious: the weapon's handle is pushed through the metal ring, and gravity does the rest, or rather, holds the axe in place, while the axe head prevents it from sliding all the way through. Alternatively, something can be tied to or hooked onto the ring. This medieval axe holder with metal ring is also suitable for blunt weapons such as a morning star, war hammer, or even tools from the Middle Ages or LARP.
