This large bronzed and hand-painted figure depicts Loki, the god of fire, trickery, and mischief. Born to two giants, he was later adopted by Odin and from then on was considered an Æsir. Loki himself also has children, which can be seen in the figure, with two of them peeking out from his cloak: the Fenris wolf and the Midgard serpent. An enemy of Heimdall due to various deeds, the shapeshifting Loki is the only known god in Norse mythology who was not worshipped.
