Vivid Middle Ages - Healing, Banishing, Amputating is the 10th volume in the Dragonsys series, focusing on medieval healing arts. This type of healing art has been traditionally practiced in Europe for centuries, and certainly still occasionally today, as recipes, cures, and their application have been passed down from generation to generation. Some of the healing methods described here are quite drastic, and therefore, for safety reasons, "re-experiencing" them should be limited to theory and knowledge of how to use the instruments. As the successor to the long out-of-print book Medicina Popularis, it also includes a comprehensive theoretical presentation of the history of medicine. This was supplemented by historian Jan H. Sachers with illustrations by Lina Barz.
