The small Hussite Pfennig with lion made of pewter is a replica of a Bohemian coin from the period after the late medieval Hussite Wars in the second half of the 15th century. The medieval reproduction was made with a hand-engraved die and corresponds in appearance and size to the original, with the special feature of being minted on one side only.

The obverse shows the dominant and timeless symbol of the Bohemian state, the double-tailed lion rampant. The reverse of the coin is smooth to reduce costs and enable rapid and mass production for the needs of the population and soldiers. The original Pfennig was minted in the royal mint in Kuttenberg from mostly inferior silver, and its value was one-seventh of a Prague Groschen.

The replica of the small Hussite Pfennig with lion made of pewter is ideal for reenactment, cosplay, and as a collector's item for medieval fans!
