The Viking axe was an important tool and weapon for the Vikings. These small axes were light and easy to handle, which made them a popular choice for warriors and craftsmen. The small size of the axe made it ideal for close combat and for working in confined spaces. Today, Viking axes are still popular with collectors and as decorative elements in homes.
The small bearded axe features a handle made of natural ash wood.
Please note that the blade is sharpened and fully functional. Therefore, this Viking axe is not suitable for re-enactment combat and is designed only as a collector's item or decorative object!
