This Kievan Rus Axe Amulet Perun made of bronze is based on finds from the Early Middle Ages in Slavic countries of the Baltics, Poland, Ukraine, and Western Russia. Viking and Rus axe amulets of this type often feature circular eye decorations and zigzag lines as ornamentation, which are often interpreted as symbols for the sun and lightning and are classic Viking Age decorations. The Rus Axe Amulet Perun made of bronze is therefore ideal for Viking and Rus reenactment, but also suitable for everyday wear, the medieval market, and LARP.
