This massive amulet is known as the Great Wolf Cross and is a replica of a find in Foss, Iceland, from 1910, which was dated to the 10th century of the Middle Ages. The silver original can now be found in the Icelandic National Museum. The bronze cross has three arms of equal length and a longer fourth one, ending in a wolf's head, so that the cross can be worn on a necklace or leather strap above the animal's mouth. In the middle, there is another cross as a breakthrough. The wolf's head and the cross shape have also given this amulet its well-known name. It is assumed that this Viking cross represents the connection between the Christian cross and the Viking-era Thor's Hammer. In Iceland, this cross is still worn today. This piece of jewelry is the perfect necklace for medieval and Viking fans.
