Bronze Age "Wheel Pin" Brooch - Replica
Our garment pin, known as a wheel pin, is a handcrafted replica from the Bronze Age and is based on a find from approx. 1500 BC. Wheel pins of this type were widespread in Central Europe during the Bronze Age, as evidenced by eponymous finds in Unterbimbach, and were used as clasps for capes or as a pair for a dress. Typically, garment pins are inserted vertically from top to bottom through the layers of fabric to be connected, and the ring's weight ensures a secure hold. This replica of a wheel pin is therefore perfect for Bronze Age reenactment, but also for LARP and the medieval market.
