The leaf-shaped Germanic spearhead for reenactment was hand-forged from steel, polished and is based on finds in South German bogs. The forged socket must be attached to a wooden shaft in a DIY process. You can drill two holes for this if necessary, but we recommend the more historical variant of attaching the spearhead to the adapted shaft and securing it with birch tar or another powerful adhesive. These shorter spears were widespread among Germanic tribes in the 6th century and were used for throwing and fighting. The Germanic spearhead is perfect for historical representation at medieval markets.
