Early Medieval Sax Blade for DIY Knife Making
This long Early Medieval Sax Blade for DIY knife making was hand-forged after an Anglo-Saxon model from England and is sharpened! The typical Anglo-Saxon broken-back sax blade in Bowie knife shape is ideally suited for DIY construction of your own sax. It is based on the typical Anglo-Saxon sax blades between 800 and 1100, the heyday of the sax among Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. The tang, also known as the handle, is intended for attachment to a wooden or bone handle and the forge-blackened surface was deliberately left for aesthetic reasons. The Early Medieval sax blade is ideal for DIY knife makers and craftsmen and Early Medieval reenactment.
